Yin yoga was developed to penetrate deep into connective tissue expanding flexibility while invigorating the energy centers of the body to release blockages and increase energy flow. Focusing on static movement, breathwork and meditation to create a profoundly deep and rewarding practice.
This is a meditative style of Yoga, and is great for increasing muscle suppleness, improving joint function and mobility and for keeping Youthful.
Shaolin QI GONG Ba Duan Jin, is an ancient breathing and movement technique often referred to as 'moving meditation ' or Chinese yoga' .
The 8 movements, which can be practiced individually or together, stimulate the circulation, help the muscles to relax, mobilise the joints, stimulate Qi, improve flexibility, promote a healthy metabolism and strengthen the immune system.
Qi gong combined with meditation helps the practitioner to focus the mind, relieve stress and unblock energy channels.
